Hers appears to be mahogany to me. It has that reddish look.

This is the front side of the 3 pin block with 3 thumb nuts in place. Light wires are MIA>[ATTACH=CONFIG]592705[/ATTACH]

So a year and half later, I am finally looking at putting this motor on and seeing if the motor works. Are the original foot pedals safe to rewire and use? Is it easy to do? Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on reattaching an external motor on a Singer machine? Here are a few pics of her.

Opinions and reasons as to why I might keep her or let her go. Thank you.

Yes, the foot pedals are easy to rewire, and safe. I can't help you on the motor. I haven't done one of those yet.
