Default Sister Susie’s Sewing Shirts Song

I just bumped into a 3-minute YouTube video of the tongue-twister song “Sister Suzie’s sewing shirts for soldiers” by Billy Murray. The video contains an original 1915 filmclip from the first world war showing wounded soldiers using sewing machines, as well as video of ladies sewing for the War effort.

Pretty cool! I saw at least 1 model 15 being used. Just don't ask me to sing along.

Reminds me of SteveH, who sent a sewing machine to an army man. Remember? Lots and lots of good people on here.

Look for one called Sewing A Boat 1933. Made me think of Rodney and Steve.
