Sssooooo Do I Repair or do I Part It???
#11
I've found I have three categories and it sounds like that's about right. There are the those that I strip for parts and bag them, those that I save and then the in-betweeners. Those are the ones that I clean up and shelve thinking they could be loaded with parts or perhaps I will stumble on what I need to fix them? Either way, I am not ready to fully scrap them out just yet.

I haven't been doing this long enough. I think I can save them all!
Realistically though, sometimes a machine is too far gone to make it a good candidate to save. Using the parts to get others running is the best option.
There is a small paradox though. The most desirable parts machines are also the most complete. They're the ones with all the commonly missing or damaged parts that are in the most demand.
