Very nice! Gives me encouragement on some other cabinets and maybe some courage to obtain cabinets needing help.

I don't care for blond cabinets either, and have no problem with them being refinished. I gave away the blond cabinet that my 15-91 came in because it was starting to delaminate. If it had been solid wood, I likely would have kept it.

Can these "blonde" cabinets be painted? My 185 came in one.

Yes you can, sand lightly and prime with a good primer and paint the color of choice
