Does anyone have a treadle machine that they would consider selling to a very special quilter? If so, please pm me and let me know. Thanks, Gwyn

wish I were closer (N.J. is too far to ship), I have a 1914 singer treadle, all parts move smoothly 7 drawer cabinet in decent shape for it's age.

Beautiful machine, love the drawer fronts! Wish I wasn't so far away...

I have one just like this! It was my great-grandmothers and this is what I learned to sew on. I made doll clothes on this when I was 8 years old, which was many many decades ago.

I can't believe you want to part with that beauty! I also learned to sew on a treadle...we had treadles and electric in my home ec class and everyone headed for the electric. I think I was one of a few who knew how to use the treadle without making it go backwards!

I found a new Singer hand crank machine for her. It is in a beautiful wood case, Sortof like a portable. She can decide if she wants a treadle for it when she is ready. Her house is very small. I love these old machines. I'll get my grandmother's some day.

I have one, but can't imagine what shipping would be from Cincinnati!
