TWI Model D830....looking for info on this sewing machine
This is the first machine I've seen with TWI. There doesn't seem to be much info. I brought it home from the thrift store just to check it out. Got it stitching with no problem.

5 minutes on Google and I'd guess this is a private label machine sold by an Irish Company, TWI fabric and machines, located in Dublin. It was probably made in the East, hopefully in Japan. So, to get information about it, you're going to have to find what other labels it was sold under. My first impression is that it was a Morse machine. It looks similar, but not identical to my sister's Morse 9550, which was sold under several brands.
First, I'd search for Sewing Machine D830 and see what comes up. You're looking for the same machine under a different brand. Look at the sewing machine manuals sites at the photos. It's also possible you won't find anything, but you probably have a good machine that you have to figure out without a manual. By look for, I mean literally look at the drawing and photos of sewing machines to find a match.
It's also possible someone will recognize it here, so give it a day or two.
If you have specific questions, someone may be able to answer them.
Congrats on getting it going.

Thanks bkay...I found the same info on TWI via Google and still looking through pictures on the web in hopes of finding a match. Interesting that it looks similar to a Morse.
After playing around with it a bit it does seem like a nice stitching machine.
