EXCITED!!! Bought a great little Featherweight today One with the Red S, made in 1961 (Great Britain). Came from a little quilt shop about a half hour from me. They have a guy that refurbishes them and sells them in the shop. Soooo, I got a one-on-one lesson on the how to of using it (which I really needed).

Sews like a dream .... reminds me of driving a little sports car!!! lol

Now I need to find some *at home* sew time .... always so busy in the summer ~ and loving being outside when the weather's nice .... so that's where I usually am!!!

Oh, I will have to get a few pics on (didn't even think of that). Maybe I can do this later in the week. We are headed out of town for a few days .... and then I'll get some on here (and hoping I can figure out how!!) lol

And one other thing, the case on this little jewel (here name is Rosey) .... is like brand new

Congrats on your find. When I bought my first FW I fell in love. That sweet sound, click, click, click as it sew just makes me smile. Now I have 3 and I love all of them. I think I need to find a white one and a 222.

I too, love the sound. My mother would sew late at night making my doll clothes on her FW. I fell in love with my first one and now have 5, including a red S 221 and red S 222, and a 221J (tan). The hunt is part of the fun.
