Vertex hand crank machine

I found a Vertex hand crank machine in a charity/thrift shop for 50% off. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them. I can't find them anywhere. i'm assuming it is a Singer 27/28 type. Has a VS. Fortunately, it came with shuttle, two bobbins and three feet. Needs cleaning up, runs stiff but it works. It is in a nice coffin case.
