Default A very pretty Singer, what is it exactly ?

Saw this for sale and wondered what the machine is called. I know I have a Red Eye and I saw one called 'Wings'. I think it's pretty but wondered what it is. I hope the picture comes through OK, had to work with it some. Thanks.

it is either a 115 or a 15. I suspect a 115 but I would need to see the face to be sure (I am just becoming aware of the 115 and it's nuances)

here is a thread that discusses it
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...e-t216990.html

The decals are called "Gingerbread" or "Tiffany"

I am looking specifically for a model 115 with a serial number between G4948471 and G4950470.
These were ordered on October 20, 1916 (My Grandmother's BDay)

Wings is very rare. This is the most common pattern you will find on the 115. Most ive seen in cases as 115. Once in a while one turns out to be a 15.

I I asked the person selling this machine what the serial number is and he replied G4337874, sorry it won't work for you.

thank you very much for asking. that was very cool!

I think they copied it wrong though.

The number you posted is for Singer 127's (G4332016 - G4347015)

the series immediately before that however is (G4322016 - G4332015) which is for Singer 115's

Both were ordered December 14, 1915
