Default Machine Shed, east side

DH is getting there! His goal is to have it ready to paint by the end of November.

This was yesterday - today we put up insulation and Monday DH will start putting up sheetrock.

Ok- so it does sort of look like a couple of motel rooms LOL!!

It's going to be fun moving the rest of my collection (mostly Singers) out, along with the Longarm.

Insulating before the snow, just in time!

Wow! It is really coming along. I will be anxiously watching as you complete the shed. It will be fun to see the Singers and your long arm machine.

It's really neat that the roof looks like it was all made at the same time. No seams there!

This will have baseboard electric heat - same as the other half and our house. We heated the west half all last winter, and I did not notice a significant increase in our heating bill. With everything well insulated, it does not take all that much to keep it warm.

The tax assessor came yesterday - it was raining so she did her "look over" from the car, about 50 feet away. Her eyes got a bit big when DH told her my Long Arm was going out there - and then said she may come back when it's all done for another look. Goes to show, you never know when you are going to meet another quilter!
