Hey Joe, I hope you've been to see your new doc by now. A good doctor can make all the difference, even in how we look at the issue at hand. I hope it was a good visit and he / she's going to help you recover from this.

I haven't been on the net very much for the last few days, so I didn't know about your illness, Joe. I want to let you and Elaine know that I have both of you in my prayers. GET WELL SOON!!!! We need your knowledge here!

Joseph, I hope you are starting to feel a little better. I know prayers get answered in all kinds of ways - especially in ways we do not expect. I'm still praying you will fully recover soon.

Joe I hope you are feeling better, I wish there was a manual for things like you are dealing with, so we could tell you to do A+B+C and you would get well like you do to help us with our machines.
We miss your joy and enthusiasm for all the machines on here.
Get well soon.

Joe, here's to hoping you are feeling better by now. If not, maybe you need to get one of the walkers with big wheels and brakes and a seat and take her for a spin and when you are tired just sit down and push yourself the rest of the way. Had a lady wanted to do her own grocery shopping but figured she couldn't and I said why not you have this walker you can walk while you can and sit when you can't. They fold up nicely and would fit into the Pathfinder. Take care buddy and get well so you can do more when you are feeling better.

If you get a walker it needs a horn. awooggah awoogah here comes Joe! Oh and if you get that walker with a seat, you might be able to haul a sewing machine on it

LOL! You all are a hoot.

The new family MD is South Korean. Sharp as a tack and much better than ones we had at the previous clinic. He's got some plans on how to proceed. And he even agreed on a form of therapy for my bum shoulder. Using my Hand Crank machine works the sore and week muscles. So I told him about it and he said that's a good exercise, go for it. So I am, a little bit at a time.

Went to the Infectious Disease Dr yesterday. He ordered another CT scan. Said I'm still displaying symptoms. I have to continue the anti-bio infusions at least until the CT scan is done and the results are back, and maybe even longer. So I'm not doing as well as hoped there.

Been trying to sleep in my bed instead of the recliner chair. But I just cannot get comfortable. This right shoulder and arm hurts all the time and at night it keeps me jittery to the point I just can't sleep well.

Hopefully something will break and I'll make some progress. But it's taking forever.

Elaine got banged up a bit yesterday.
As we were leaving the Drs office we went to the restrooms. The door sprung back and caught Elaines arm skinning a gash on it. I told her to go in and report it. She did, got treatment for it too. As she was in the back I overheard the receptionist and another gal discussing it. Seems as if the door had gotten them too, but not to the point of injuries. Maybe they'll fix it now.

So that's about it for an update.

Still sewing a bit as I can, I'm making a cover for Kenmore 158-17570 we're going to keep. It's got all it's attachments, owners manual, cams and sews beautifully. Far better than many of the Singers we have. So since it has a base but no lid I'm making a quilted cover for it. I'll post a pic or three when I'm done.

Working on another Whacky Bag or quilt or who knows what it will end up being with my HC machine. A little a time.

I"ve got 4 machines sitting waiting for work and cleaing. I can't do it now. I can't even lift a normal machine. Elaine has been my muscles for the last month. Somehow when this is all over I'll have to do something great for her.

And .... resting. That seems to be about what I'm doing the most of.

Joe
