Here is the lower tension. The lower spool pin is missing but a simple part to fashion.
You can also see the tip of the curved underside "needle"

Gwen's beautiful! Hope she's ok. I have a 13 yr old german shepherd, Sasha. She'll be 14 the end of January and is having problems but still feisty and wanting to come upstairs when I go to bed and go outside and getting into general mischief. at least she doesn't eat sewing machines or books!

Wow. Just...wow. That is a beautiful find and at such an amazing price! Incredible. I've never seen a machine quite like it and the condition is outstanding. What a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity -- and you made the most of it!
