If it's a 201-K, Singer has it also for free. The one at ismacs is a photo of the actual manual.

Very Nice Score!! The cabinet is really great...the one I just got with my 99 has the tip out drawer too, legs are straight on mine, and it has scratches as well, but looks much the same. Enjoy!!

I know this is really stupid, but how do you know this is a 201? I thought they were beige/or two tone beige. Or is the 301 the beige that looks totally different? Is there a # on a plate on the front like the 301's have? Unless there's a # written right on the front or a book with a machine, I can't tell what's what... pls 'splain Lucy

Of all my machines, I like the 201's stitch the best. Beautiful machines, near perfect.

Mine says 201 on a little plate if you look at the one photo you see down near the serial # it has it. I also have 2 301's. one is beige and has a case and the other is black and has the attachment to set it in the table. They also say 301 on a little plate on front. The 301 's also have a handle on the top to carry them with. This little beauty is also heavy. Have not had time to try her motor out yet. Been so busy working. need to find a place to put her too. I got rid of the Sears Kenmore that I had in a cabinet for what I paid for her. A friend took her off my hands. I might also be able to get rid of some of the singers that DH bought on auction a couple of years ago. they came out of a school at the MAFB with instruction manuals, buttonholers too.
