Oh my gosh...it is a beautiful machine, and for that price, the case can certainly be replaced...but the Featherweights are so easy to sew on, you won't need the case too often...lol...I am so happy for you...enjoy

I'm even more excited now!!! I thought it was a white one....turns out it's a white/green one!!!! They're even more rare, according to what I read!!!! DH got it all cleaned up yesterday and is running to town to get a belt for it (according to Charlee one of the local shops has the belt)......he's even more excited than me to get it running!!!!

Wow, what a find! You never know what you're going to find in those stores. And I'm glad you rescued it before someone who would put it on eBay for $500 found it!

How excited you must of been to look in that case and find that wonderful machine!! I too am a owner in waiting....I had a really bad experience with an ebay seller who refused to ship the machine that I won on auction! I did get my money back eventually, but it was the machine that I wanted and was just sick about the experience. Still hoping that one day I will find one that I can afford. Congrats. to you!!
