bailey: I love your beautiful, tranquil scene. The way you took two of the trees and the head of the dog and appliqued them onto the side of the church really adds dimension. :wink:

it is a quilt done by Jane Stickle back during the civil war. a lady named brenda (can't pronounce, let alone speell the last name managed to figure out the blocks and made a quilt with them. she sell a book and cd so others can make this quilt. there is a thread called dear jane cyber block party. we started jan of 2010 and there is one lady who has completed hers and several others who are close to finishing.
