loved this train ride. Due for a vacation soon, maybe I'll take a train ride in Sept.

Emily, your topper in the browns is bee-you-tee-ful!!! I love it, but then I am a huge fan of the neutrals, from dark brown down to the light beige and cream, with perhaps a little touch of color.

Counting down... just 17 more days until the train leaves the station. Whoo whoo!

Emily, that is very pretty. I so love browns. I am so drawn to them that I have to really work hard not to gravitate to them.

I still have to finish mine. I should get on that before the next rain leaves.

Just Jan - 17 days? My oh my, how the time flies! Can't wait. I've missed all of you since the last train ride.

Anoka - I too have to try to stay away from always doing browns, but so many of my quilts have a lot of brown.

Well, I better get going on figuring yardage. The mystery quilt is finished, but have no idea how much fabric I used. I always hope I have enough to do what I had planned in my head, because I work out of my stash, not the fabric store.

Judy is it a quilt or runner or what this time? Seems I always use brown or black too.

Thanks for the comments! I will probably be making many more quilts in the browns. I have a bunch in my stash. Didn't know I had so many till I went stash diving a few months ago looking for a backing. Good thing I like the browns.

Not much longer now and we get a new mystery
