Sheesh! I don't know Elkland, Mulberry, or Mapleton....and we travel from Ocala to Daytona and down to Melbourne A LOT! So maybe we're going the wrong way? Just Jan, I didnt' know you were in the area. JABA, welcome! I love the sunshine here. Well, most days. Be sure to check out the website for Quilt Shop of DeLand. Judy Hansen has decided to take a break from major shows (don't know how long that will last) and for now is doing demos once a month in her shop. Judy designs her own fabric line and is so enthusiatic about quilting that it's just fun to go experience the shop. We are blessed with some great quilt shops!

Coopah I googled it and Jaba will be about 100 miles south of us, on the other coast. I laughed when you said you are moving to Mulberry... I live in Lake Helen and often refer to it as Mayberry (from TV's Mayberry RFD.) Jaba, The closest town to Lake Helen is DeLand (home of Stetson University and the Stetson Mansion) which is 5 miles from LH. Perhaps you could watch for the date of the quilt show and make it a road trip! Check out Judy's news letter (Quilt Shop of DeLand) as she has info there about lots of fun places to visit and eat in DeLand. Would be fun to plan ahead and maybe we could all meet at the quilt shop some time.

Ahhhh, Mary Mary Mary, see you didn't need a clue last week as to runner or wall hanging or king sized bed quilt! And you know me, and know I wouldn't have told you anyway! LOL See? It's tomorrow almost!

The anticipation is making me wild. Anyone know who is posting the fabrics? Hee hee. See you tomorrow morning probably around 8 my time, 11:00 on the east coast. Sleep well, my friends!

German pasty with cabbage, onions, long simmered roast with allspice, wrapped in a onion yeast dough, then baked, good hot or cold.
