Ladies I need a little help here please, how should I quilt this mystery train ride? Do I just do the stitch in ditch or meander? Still learning Thank you for your help

Well Tomara, what does the quilt look like? What colors did you use? How good are your quilting skills? You machine quilting or hand quilting? Once you answer those questions, that can give me a better idea of how to help. Since you say you are still learning, a meander would be easiest or a simple edge to edge design like loops.

I did mine with a diagonal. both directions, about 5 inches apart and it looked rezally nice, the diagonal straight stitch lined echoed the diagonal of the small squares.

Yay, I finally got the top finished. I really like this pattern, Judy. It's one of your best. I'm rethinking the pieced border; too much?

Evie love love love your quilt! The arrangement is great, and the border is fantastic, really finished it off. No, I do not think it is too much. Great job!

No, not too much. I love your borders. The "flowers" lend so much to the over-all design. But that's a lot of little pieces, I don't think I have the patience for all that. It is beautiful though.

Love it Evie. That border is very striking and I love it. Like dd said, that is a lot of little pieces. I set the ufo aside for a couple of days (can see why a ufo) and decided to work on this again. I am out of my dark fabric, thank goodness it is not that old so it is on its way to my house. Found it on sale as well. I laid it all on my wall and it looks something like this. Only one block finished, but the others are ready to assemble the block all little pieces are sewn (except for the rest of the green pieces). When I get done, will be a queen size. Even though I made the mistake of the medium where a dark should have been at the flower part, it looks nice.
