Betty & Jaba your quilts are both so pretty, thanks for showing us! I still have not been able to get into my sewing room, darn life keeps getting in my way.

[QUOTE=dear1953;7119999]ok, worked all afternoon yesterday and running errands in the morning. I couldn't go scrappy, had the orange piece left over from fabric I bought from Joanne's online and when they sent it I got an extra 12 yd free because it was all that remained on the bolt

A lurker here, I vote for #2, yours reminds me of oriental lanterns I like it a lot.

I didn't participate in this mystery as I had a bunch of things to accomplish before leaving on a week-long quilting retreat in Branson, then got iced in for a couple of extra days. Have been playing catch-up since returning home. But I love this design and will start on a controlled scrappy tomorrow. I really like the ones with both halves of the "butterflies" being the same print, so that is the way I will go. And probably the same colourway on the sashings to bring it all together. Great design, Judy, as usual.

Thank you! Love how they are all turning out! We just now had a small earthquake....Whatever the oil company's are doing I wish they would quit.....It's becoming the normal around here with earthquakes...And earthquakes is one of the reason we left California.......

Its beautiful Jaba and lv2sew yours is very similar to how I thought to do mine. 3 or 4 and make table runners. I'll be working on that today
