Such a beautiful talented young lady; may the Man Above hear our prayers and return her to be loved on earth again.

;A new day; new hope that all is well with you and your family. That you will enjoy with day and find some laughter to brighten up the day for you.

Overcast skies here, cool this morning. Good chance of continuing in the QR, love the next four flocks in FW; they are fun to do. Smile and make the day a brighter one.

At Saint Mary's Church, they have a weekly husband's marriage seminar. At the session last week, the Priest asked Luigi, who was approaching his 50th wedding anniversary, to take a few minutes and share some insight into how he had managed to stay married to the same woman all these years.
Luigi replied to the assembled husbands, "Well, I've a-tried to treat-a her nice, spend the money on her, but best is that I took-a her to Italy for the 20th anniversary!"
The Priest responded, "Luigi, you are an amazing inspiration to all the husbands here! Please tell us what you are planning for your wife for your 50th anniversary ."
Luigi proudly replied, "I'm a-gonna go and get her."

Cute, Nina Sue! That's one way to achieve maritial harmony...

Good morning everyone. A friend is taking me out to lunch today, to a new tea room. Tomorrow is a sew day with my quilting group... woo hoo! Looks like a fun weekend is shaping up for me.

Our weather has been amazing here for Mississippi in May! So lovely and cool. Normally we'd be sweltering by May. Yesterday I taught yoga in the park and the weather was just fantastic to be outside! Wish we could keep this all through the summer.

We are back in Midland. It started raining late Tues evening, rained all day wed & most of Thurs morning. Thures afternoon we mowed. DH mowed the yards while I rode the riding mower & mowed the lots. I am not happy about the height of the riding mower. I mowed it at the highest setting but it was only about 2 inches high. There were several wildflowers that wouldn't have been mowed down if the setting was 4 or 5 inches. I did ask about the height of the mower when we bought it. There were some ugly weeds that were in the lots that had to come down. They are tall & you couldn't see the the wildflowers anyway.

They told us it was going to rain today but instead the weather was beautiful! We did get a lot of rain this week.

Here's what I've been working on, the Scrappy Mountain Majesties. I'm taking it to group tomorrow, along with the red, white and blue top I made, and another lady in the group is going to quilt them for me on her longarm. That's two less that I have to do on my machine... We are trying to get some men's quilts together quickly for the hospital we donate to. They are out of mens quilts.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
