Quiltingninasue, are you using the software to assist? Your blocks are very pretty.
I finally found where I set my fabrics for the dear jane, dug thru my Buggy Barn stash, pulled out enough fabric for a different quilt, see I have no worries on colors for this one, now to understand how to make blocks. Over to tutorial.

I am swamped with too many projects, but enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for your kind words, QuitnNan. For some reason I am very nervous with DJ and unsure of myself, hence, I ordered the kits & instructions from QOTS for additional backup...and love their fabric selections. Now I taken the first steps (stitches) in beginning DJ.

Yes, QuilterMom, I have the book and software, bookmarked that quilt, and reading the instructions in the BOM kit, that's where each block its pinned...right on the 'log' page of the kit instructions. And lurking here to learn more.

I have begun to pull out some of my dear jane things again and have found the blocks for this week. I have also figured out how to put these blocks on my chart with the software. I am super excited to get this thing going again! I don't have the book and am having a hard time figuring this out on the software, but is there sashing in between the blocks? I have looked everywhere and just cant find it. Anywho, here are my blocks for week 1, now to do this week so I don't fall behind.

Brookemarie19, yes there is sashing. I'm cutting mine at 1X5" for in between the blocks, by row. So, it will finish at 1/2" sashing. For one of my DJs, I am doing quilt as you go (QAYG). Then I think I'll measure and do long strips to attach Row A with Row B.
