I've been lolly-gagging about this week and here it is Saturday. Tomorrow we start the next block.... and I have not even looked at it yet. Bet I won't be the first to post this week, lol.
Hope you are all geared up and ready to applique, 'cause here we go again!

Hello, again, Everyone! After not taking the trip I was planning on because Mom had an extended stay in the hospital, I finally started my pieced applique project! I am making it out of scrappy batiks and I have made the first 3. I have taken pictures of them but since I am not the sharpest at downloading pictures AND finding them again, I will wait for just the right time to post pictures. I just finished re-reading your posts from the start and I am so impressed with all of your PA squares! I did a 'practice' square of Virginia Snowballs and made one or two mistakes and learned from them.
Marilyn, I especially enjoy your daisy 12" squares. Love the colors.
DeeCee, your work is awe inspiring. Can't wait to see how all of these quilts finish!
Irene, your fabrics are so unique to the other's squares . . . love the variety.
Lara, why is it that those who are the busiest are the ones who manage so much on their plates? Are you settled from your move? Batiks are my all time favorites and your squares are looking sooooo good!
Marilyn, I loved seeing the picture of your MIL. I always loved coloring, too! I have my box of crayons on the shelf in my sewing room. I haven't used them for awhile but, they are ready. I loved the pillow you and MIL made.
Thank you for posting your adventures for us to share in. Talk to you later when I post my pics.
