There are two posts in Week 16 of the last Dear Jane BOM that look like they adjusted the pattern, Nos. 13 and 63. There may be more, but they're kind of hard to make out. If all the others were put together with "y" seams, they're amazing!

oh, sorry to make you work so hard. yes, i see that most are made with the Y seams. glad we got it figured out.
thanks |
Thanks Nancy & Katybob - that was exactly what I meant :)
just bear in mind that in katybob's sketch with the corners consider it piecing, not necessarily paper piecing in that for the corners - sew 1 to 2 and 3 to 4, then sew 1-2 to piece 3-4. If you try to PP in the 1-4 order you will run into problems! Gus |
Thanks, Gus -- just discovered that as I sat down at my sewing machine to start on it!

oh, i didn't even think of that 'cuz i do regular piecing. i've never pp'd
|
I hadn't pp'd before I started my first DJ last summer, but now I'm hooked! I started pp'ing a Hunter's Star a couple of months ago and it was totally boring, especially working with just two fabrics, so I switched to regular piecing. But I don't think I could successfully piece some of the DJ blocks with a ton of tiny pieces.
