Week 4 blocks + 1

The third block is because I did not look closely at the Name of the block we were suppose to make for this week. There were two Mother's….. on page 51. I made one and then realized it was not the correct one and made another. I guess I will be ahead one block at some point.

I worked on my fifth block. It was the one with the curved piecing. I used the curve master for the first time ever. I always feared curved piecing. It came out well but I had a lot of one fabric hanging over when I was done, as if I cut the quarter circle piece too big. Was that my mistake or did others have the same issue? I still need to do the appliqué. I will have that block and the last 3 done sometime this week.

Here is my redone Bowtie block. The first block I made I eliminated that Y seam but it looked like a big block so put my big girls panties on and did it correctly
