Seems like it should come with a reset button if this is a chronic issue. I wonder if they have plans to update the machine anytime soon, now that it's been out in the market for awhile.

Did you get the problem resolved with your Accuquilt? I haven't had that problem yet so not sure what happened.

Couldn't tell exactly by your post but did you have 6 layers doubled for 12 total layers? OR 3 layers doubled for 6 total?

Generally, they will cut 6 total layers. If fused with fusible though only cut 4 layers of fabric through the cutter.

Good luck!

Well that's how you manage computers and usually they are much more expensive......
Electronics seem to take on a mind of their own...

I have had the same issue. I turned off the machine, gave it a whack (which dh said NOT to do), got it going and now only do 2 or 3 layers

I use my strip dies often, and only once did this happen--I had 8 layers folded (bad me!) and I just turned it off and then back on-it reversed and then I took off a couple of layers, it solved the problem.

I recently went to aclass given by Accuquilt and one thing she mentioned is that you should always remove the die and cut fabric off of the machine when you are seperating them. Static electricity can build up and it will cause the Go Big to shut off temporarily. I wonder if that is what happened?

I spray my Go mats and dies with Static Guard. So does every one else I know that has one. The cuts do not stick to the mat and no static build up in the machine.

I had that happen. We had to pound it out and of course it ruined my dye. I talked to Accuquilt and they told me to contact World Weidner, the company I bought it from. I now have a replacement and have run into another issue ARGH.
