Unhappy Accuquilt Go Electric

Before I call customer support, did anyone experience this. I was making 2 1/2 inch strips. Six layers of folded cotton fabric. A fourth in, the machine stopped. Unable to move die, fabric or turn the Go back on. Please help. Thanks

There is an Accuquilt and Beyond on FB.I have seen other people post this question. You can get lots of information on the site.

It's happened to me once, switch off leave a minute and switch back on, no idea why it happened can only think I didn't have the die supported enough before inserting and it went in at an angle.

my question too! Hope we get the reason why.......my first thought was 6 layers folded....maybe tha bulk of the fold? I have a handcrank GO and I never load to 6....always stop at 4.....

I use 6 layers of fabric all the time with my Go Big. Unless I am cutting flannel. Then I only use 4 layers. I have never had problems. Make sure your die has not warped.

This happened to my friend's Big. She didn't support the long die and in the middle it got stuck. She let it sit for a few minutes then turned it on and guided the die through. I think that is why the Qubes were designed for the Go Big. No long dies.

Mine does that every now and then. I unplug it at the machine site and wait a few seconds. Then plug it in again. Always works for me. Did not know it was a problem for others.

.......well, for something that cost $500, I certainly would want to know why and how to resolve the situation.....not just unplug and replug.......
