Sounds like Countrymaid has good incentive, trying to outdo her brother in the weight loss department. I like talking with others here on this thread, but I really don't have anyone local who can share my ups and downs (no weight pun intended) of my days. I used to have a good friend I walked with, but then winter intervened. We really haven't gotten back to walking, but need to. Somehow I need a good kick in the...**... to get me started back again. I watch what I eat, but need the mental kick as well. Tomorrow is Taboo/Terrific Tuesday. Need to come up with my item overnight. Eat healthy eveyrone!

I'll be sending in my "skinny" FQ's this week.

Okay, Taboo Tuesday. Make your meals a time for your meals. Don't do something else while eating - and I know plenty of people watch the news while eating - don't do it. Make the mealtime just for meals. You'll pay more attention to what you are eating and it does aid digestion (far better than listening to a newscaster talk about the latest massive vehicle pile up on the interstate). If you have to, move the meal time up just a bit so you can have finished before the news comes on. We already do portion control, here is one way to enjoy what we have.

Ok my fat/skinny quarter didn't make it in yet due to unexpected things, but I have it and it will go out either today or tomorrow the latest. I have got in some more exercise in the yard. I was helping my husband with a couple of holes being filled in with dirt in our yard, due to digging by the fur babies. It is paying off though, because I have went down 3 1/2 pounds. I always do a bit better in nice weather. It is beautiful out today. Cindy I think that is wonderful the time spent and enjoyed with your date. Have a good week everyone.

I just saw this! I wish I had seen it by the deadline. I will have to watch out for May.

Wow, it took me a week to figure out that I had not subscribed to this month's thread. I was thinking Cindy is going to be so unhappy about the lack of chatter. LOL
Debbie, congrats on your terrific weight loss this year! You certainly look happier in the 2nd pic. I'll bet you really notice how much smaller your waist is.
I live in the woods and the north side of my 2 story house still has about 2 feet of snow. There's still plenty in the backyard too. Tomorrow and thursday we are supposed to get 6 more inches of snow. Will this winter ever end?

Jan, you can certainly still join us for the chatter and encouragement. Next month you can be in the challenge to win the fat quarters.

You can join us anytime. You just can't be eligible of the prize. We all need encouragement and support.

Cindy, I am impressed you get in a hot tub. Good for you! I don't even have a swimsuit that fits me anymore.

Lets see, 8 ft privacy fence, just 2 of us, who said anything about a swimsuit. LOL I love the hot tub, it really helps with my rib pain that is almost constant. Very relaxing this weekend we both got so relaxed we almost fell asleep in the hot tub.
