i took a land-cruise trip to alaska and i loved it. there are too many photos to post them all, so i had to pick and choose. i hope this gives you an idea of what the trip was like. get comfy.

they have fat 1/2's there

black/white and red/black are totem prints -3 yards each of all these

the 2 pieces under the little ad are not real batik. they're regular prints from the mainland. i just liked them. everything else is made and sold only in alaska. the reds are much redder than they look in the photos. the dyes are very heavy. you can feel it when you rub it between your fingers.

i forgot to show the one picture i have of a fabric store. it looks like a cute fabric store in a tourist town.

oh, if anyone wants the eskimo, halibut or totem fabric, the stores will ship.
also moose, eagle, etc. they really are very different.
