    Did you try Fred Meyer?
I thought FM was part of the Kroger family as well.

There is an Albertson's/Sav-On about half way between them and Medford. Another is Food for Less. These are both chain stores

In Medford there is a Food For Less, Grocery Outlet, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Winco Foods.

Can you use a Kroger or Fry's gift certificate at a Fred Meyer store? Are they all interchangeable?

amma - how is it that you know so much about Medford stores? you are in WA right?
I think you would want to get a Fred Meyer gift certificate, but you can always get a VISA gift card they can be used in all the stores.

You might check to see if their Walmart is a SuperStore......then give them a card for that. And Fred Meyer IS a Kroger store. I am in southern Calif. right now and I use the Fred Meyer discount card at all Kroger stores....so I imagine gift cards would work at all Kroger Stores.

There is a super WalMart in Grants Pass (probably is the closest to Gold Hill) and another in Eagle Point. When I go to Grants Pass from Eagle Point, I go thru Gold Hill, but I think Grants Pass is likely a bit closer. It would depend upon where they shop the most.

OH MAN!!! I did not know this...I do a lot of shopping at Kroger's when I visit my son...I tried 2 different times to get their card but they were out, and I had to pay full price on their "specials"
