This is why my dogs need more exercise. I have a plastic compost bin that tends to break apart every so often. So my dad and I fixed it! We used zip ties and secured it. We even secured the little slider doors, leaving only the top open.

This is what I found last night. As soon as I said what is this? Mike immediately snuck into the doghouse and refused to come out. Rose is on her back, tail wagging, rolling over and over in the dirt.

I was like really? It was probably a lizard. Lizard probably ran underneath it and since they are big lizard hunters, just HAD to go get it! Sigh

That is my evening tonight to clean it up.

The damage

Mike was trying to be helpful so you wouldn't get scared if the lizzard ran over your foot.

Well, it could be worse. Our dog has eaten the aluminum siding off the garage, eaten the plug off the washing machine (thank goodness she unplugged the machine first), ripped the basement cabinet doors off their hinges, pulled all the downspouts off the house, broken a basement window and ripped the dryer vent off the side of the house. We should have named her Calamity Jane!

Liliana punishes me when I leave her by eating something sewing related like a spool of thread or a package of elastic. I had another Siberian mix who did the same.

Our two labs love lizards too. They tear apart the barbque wood stack that's about 4 ft high. It's hard to believe they can move some of those large pieces of wood.
