This is one I have lots of experience with. My husband and I have moved 13 times in 22 years and beleive me, it's crazy. The notio you keep less is not true and the notion it'll make you organized isn't either.
I have found against my resistance manytimes, it often is better to walk away and let my husband do his thing. Lately those have ben really good with ideas and floorplans that are better then what I'd planned. For the times it is not I take a deep breath, wait a while and if it still isn't god then I quietly reorganize things. Our conflict usually lies in the fact he is much taller, stronger and right handed so adjustments have to be made to help both of us cope.

Look at the bright side, you get to go shopping in your new sewing room and rediscover the fabrics you forgot about.

Studies have shown that laughter helps a person heal faster.
So laugh your butt off and maybe you can get in there quickly and find out where he is putting everything!

Our son removed the popcorn from our ceilings before we moved back from one of my husband's transfers for work. He said you would be amazed at how many spiders live in that stuff. It really does make a mess so be glad he moved everything out.

A sweet husband to paint your special space while you're resting, but don't feel guilty for your love of fabrics and quilting-that is your art. He should be thankful you're not into emeralds, diamonds, and shopping at Tiffany's. Now if you went to the garage or tool shed, what would you find in duplicate there? You are an artist who needs her "palette" of fabrics to create.
