I've gotten to the age where canning takes a toll on my neck, back and feet. After several days of canning I go see a wonder girl named Tiffany. Her massages leave me as relaxed a baby. After the massage I go home, take a warm bath, have a margarita and go to bed.

The only canning I do is applesauce since I get them from a someone who has an apple tree. Bought an apple peeler corer that sure saves time. Put the apple on and turn the knob peels and cores.
Take that back, did do some peaches but its alot of work.
Reward is to read a book.

The garden is still producing. Ugh! Can't wait for it to be over. I have 2 8 qt. stock pots simmering with sauce. I'll can them later tonight. My reward when canning season is over- quilting season starts. I usually quilt my winter away because I hate the cold.
