About 1:40pm today the quake that hit Quebec-Ontario area was felt in Ohio at a 5.5 magnitude.
I didn't feel it myself. I must have been in my car.
Did any of you in Ohio or elsewhere feel it?
If so, what were you doing when it hit?

I was at home, and didn't feel anything. Didn't know about it until I turned the news on tonight.

Yipee! Free foot massage! But that's just a Southern Californian talking. You would barely notice a 5.5. Just a little shimmy.

:-) :-) :-) I saw on the local news how people were vacating the downtown buildings and everyone was standing in the street. So what magnitude would make you Californians run?

I felt it for sure! I live 60 miles from Niagara Falls. It rattled the house for a few seconds and I thought "hmmm. I wonder what that was. I'll bet that's what an earthquake feels like!" Kinda felt like a train went by real close to the house but without any noise.

A 6.0+ makes me hold my breath, a 7.0 or higher makes me say that bad word

Wow! Didn't even hear about it! Haven't watched the news. At that time we were in the house with kids running everywhere. Ohio doesn't get much of that!
