that is what the paperwork said that came with my cooktop. no aluminum. something about the top getting too hot and the pan ruining the cooktop. so of course, I was careful. Now that I've moved, I have another one.

I bought one to try. Took to our beach house, no dishwasher, and I really like it. Nothing sticks and just a quick wash and it's clean. Really like mine so far.

I had an electric glass top stove and the directions said not to do canning on it. The reason - The canner gets too hot. What a bummer! I moved and now have a good old-fashioned electric stove.

My son and brother has one of these pans. And they both like them very much. Very easy to clean. They have said they are worth the money.

I have several and use them frequently. Wish they would come out with saucepans as well.

My husband bought one off the TV ad. I giggled! BUT that pan works! So easy to clean too.

I had a Maytag light gray glass/ceramic top. Hated it. I couldn't use the canner because of the weight not the heat. Aluminum will cause black marks on the top that won't come out. (so buy one with a black top) I hated the stove so much I did everything I was told not to do. It never did break!
The final straw was when I burned my hand one day and blamed the stove. I went that day and bought the one I wanted had it installed and never looked back.

Oh, the skillet. I bought a Sure Grip pan on clearance for $9 at Walmart. It is the most non stick pan I have ever used. It's dishwasher safe. For $9 I haven't babied it at all. Not quality made but sure is the best non stick.

I gradually switched over to ceramic nonstick pans and baking sheets (different brands), and I am happy with the results. The food slides right out smoothly and they are very easy to clean with a drop of dishwashing liquid. Be sure to to read the instructions regarding the temperatures. They are very heat efficient, and it is best not to go higher than medium high temps. I use even lower temps with great results. It is okay to add just enough butter or whatever for extra flavor. Hope this helps.

I have 2 of these fry pans. The square one & the regular round one. I love them! I don't ever put pans in the dishwasher. Always wash them by hand. No reason... just me! lol
