The dieting website that we've been talking about in the weight loss threads, www.caloriecount.about.com has a partnership with a coupon distributor... I get an email that tells me the new coupons are ready...most of them are for a dollar or more off...I can't find one of th emails from them right now...will post it when I find the addy!

I use coupons and we get points at our Ralphs, if we use reusable bags. They also track what you buy and send coupons for the items that you use. I just got a $6 coupon to apply on any groceries and 10 coupons for things I regularly buy, it is great and about twice a month we get a $5 coupon off if you spend $20

One thing I have gotten in the habit of doing too is going to the manufactureres website and just submitting a comment to them. Most of them have an area where you put your name/addy in. I've gotten coupons for sometimes free stuff, which I would send to Lauren, but also get coupons for anywhere from $1 to $4 off.

I use coupons and my reusable bags. We are down to 3 of us here and it's hard to buy in minimal amounts.

Went to Sam's Club last week- haven't been there in ages. It felt good to say we don't need to buy in bulk anymore. At one time I shopped there almost weekly. With a large family of 9 I knew who had the sales, etc. I went to 2 to 3 stores a week and got my shopping done for $100 a week after coupons. Now- $100 a week for 3 of us, after coupons too.

Oh my yes! I use coupons. I double them. I shop compair between a store brand and coupon brand, and with doubled coupons I still save. I have a little organizer so I can find them quick. I generally save $40-$75/week on coupons. I love it when I get things free. It has also given us an opportunity to try expensive things at a reasonable price. The majority of my coupons come from the Sunday paper. Even my neighbors saves them for me. Go Coupons!!!

I clip coupons, does that count? I try to use them, but usually the coupons are for things I don't need. I do like to use them for things I've never tried before. I pass them on to friends.

The reason I don't take expired right up to the six month allowance is because there is travel time from here to the overseas commissaries. The commissaries are allowed to redeem the coupons up to the six month expiration date, which is wonderful! We just have to make sure that the people have time to go through the coupons before they expire for the overseas commissaries! LOL <wave>

I have found that I save money buying the store brands then using coupons for the name brand. Unless it's a buy one get one free I don't use them.

My father was sooo proud of my mother for her ability to handle her coupons as good as any Las Vegas casino dealer! LOL You sound like his kind of woman <g> ... He has passed, but mom is still doing her coupon routine.
One complaint I have about the coupon inserts (our sole source of coupons for our overseas commissaries) is the lack of baby/child coupons! The ladies in our community bring the coupons they don't use to the Post and a number of us go through and separate them into five categories: Health and Beauty Aids, Food Stuffs, Baby and Child, Pet Food and Supplies, AND Housekeeping Products and Household Merchandise (makes it easier for the families to find the stuff they need).
It is just nerve wracking to me to have MORE pet supply coupons than coupons for baby items ... :?

My DD uses them, prints them, and has even purchased them on e-bay. She routinly saves herself $40-70 dollars every three to four weeks. She is unemployed so watches every penny. Told her she needs to do my shopping. Used to use them all the time in CO, but here we don't get a Sunday paper unless we drive into town and I have better things to do than search for coupons on the net.
