I would "shadow box" frame one of the dresses and hats along with a picture of the little girl wearing it. It would be expensive to do professionally but an absolute treasure and heirloom for your niece.

EXQUISITE! Thank you so much for sharing. Thanks for all the work that you did and your sister for saving them. I just love them, all of them.

Your work is stunning and such a sweet spirit, to care so for your sister's child. I am sure you are a blessing in her life.

How beautiful, you should be teaching.....I purchased a smocked dress at a sale, hangs in my bathroom on an embellished satin hanger, however it is not as fancy as yours.......what a skill.....calla

Thank you for the idea, I was kind of thinking of doing that for her and I appreciate the encouragement push to do it. Thanks again

How beautiful! You have done such a gorgeous job. I would love to put my daughter/granddaughter in one of those dresses. They would be saved for VERY SPECIAL occasions! Why is it that our youth does not appreciate all of the time and effort that goes into making a homemade object, whether it be a quilt or a smocked bonnet and dress?
