ebay fabric advertised as 50 x 150
I had to scroll to the bottom of the ad to realize that this was in centimeters, not inches.
ebay does have an international audience, but I was surprised to see something advertised in centimeters for fabric. The seller was located in China.
Do you think it would be beneficial/helpful to have fabric listed in both yards and meters?

I recently ordered a ruler for $7 (15 sq) and didn't read carefully. Sounded to good to be true but ordered anyway. The order confirmation said it would take 4-6 weeks to get it. We watched the doorstep for the delivery since 15" would not fit in mailbox. When a small package arrived it was from China and I could not figure out what it could be. When I opened it it was a 15cm square ruler! Lesson learned and a good laugh. Will read more carefully next time -- maybe read twice and order once.

I don't order from ebay, but as a Canadian... we use the Metric measurements but I'm always happy when I see both inches and cms listed on a pattern or anything else I purchase.
As to your new 15 cm ruler..... hope you don't mix it up with your 6" ruler or that could be a very frustrating mistake.
My rulers are all still the old Omnigrids with just the standard measurements... no cms..

I've learned my lesson the hard way! I ordered some clothes, not realizing they were coming from China. They took forever to arrive and when they did I was astonished. The designs were cute but they were the oddest sizes; all were very short and wide. You had to be 3 ft tall and 6 ft. wide. Also the quality of fabric was bad! There was no way they were even wearable. So I went back to the website to return them. Suddenly the email does not work. Fortunately I paid through PayPal. So I complained to them. Out of a $75.00 order I received an $18. refund and PayPal closed the case. I am sitting here with a $57. bag of worthless clothes. I am ashamed to take them to Goodwill because they would never fit anyone but a troll. I am also ashamed of myself for being so stupid. The name of the company was DressLily and Stylewe. Buyer beware!
