I've been trying to detash and not buy very much other fabric. Today, I was cleaning in the living room -- we have a den, so my living room is full of boxes of my mother's stash. Well, I found a box that should have been in my sewing room. Don't remember when I bought the fabrics I found in the box, but it was fun to find new fabrics!

Fun to find a surprise like that. Makes you want to create, create, create (smile).

In our quest to hide fabrics, we sometimes hide it so well, that it later becomes a found item for us...then we are not lying to our DH's when we say we've "had it for a while"!! Perfect plan and fun finding those lost treasures!!!!

Good for you. I got Christmas today too, I purchased some material from Lady-T on here Saturday morning and it came today, it was a med box just stuffed full. I am so excited, I am newbie so don't have much of a stash. Enjoy

I've been having detash sales; sold some, but still have lots left. The sad thing is the most fabric I have is cotton blends and that is hard to sell. I have done some PIFs, though; had to charge shipping, but still a good deal for some members.
When we moved to this house, my DD stayed in the old house. I have a craft building there which I haven't emptied yet. I used to do craft malls; sold jewelry, gift items, etc. That is what is mostly in the building, but I do have some sewing stuff. When I get back in there to empty, who knows what I will find? Maybe some more fabric? lol
