Grrrr!!!

So I am taking an online class this semester and I went to take our first exam yesterday and while in the middle of it I got frozen out! My internet connection or something failed, So I emailed my professor (explicitly letting her know that I would not be able to check my email or respond between 7:30 and 10:30 since I was at rehearsal) and she responds that she reset the test for me. Well I got home after the time limit (the test was open until 11:00 and she responded to me about 8:15) and now she's saying I can't finish it! Which basically means I failed the first test since I only completed like 18 questions!! Agh!!!

Unfortunately this is one of the hazards of taking classes on line. The instructors have heard every excuse in the book, so they have to set parameters and stick to them for every one. So if you can get her to bend the rules this time, feel very grateful. Most of them are paid a lot less than the instructors in the classroom and have the same responsibilities, just don't go to a classroom.

Call your Student Adviser. That's one of the reasons they are there. I had to call mine once when I was in the hospital with shingles. She managed to get in touch with the instructor. All was well because I called my Adviser.
