I've been looking for a little bag to carry my handgun in inside my purse and haven't been able to find anything. I've thought about making one but haven't been very talented about designing one. Anyone ever make one? buy one? How do you carry yours? I really need some ideas.

Here's the thread that was started back in February. I've lost track of the goings on there.

Mine is in a pocket sleeve. It is like a flat holster that protects the gun in your pocket. In our case..our handbag.

Like this.......

Most of my purse have pocket just my handgun. One of my new handbags, I will have to make one for it to sit in.

It stays in the inside large zipper pocket of whatever purse I'm carrying. Always a deciding factor when buying a purse.

Is the idea to be able to get to the weapon quickly? It seems like a zipper would slow you down.

Depends where I am going. Sometimes in purse in a pocket holster but most often in a holster right on my belt. If I need it then I want to be able to get to it in a hurry!

Shoulder holster in winter, hip, pocket, fanny pack or ankle holster in summer and for a skirt try: http://chickholsters.com. I think it costs as much to make as just buy some of these methods and more secure, in my opinion.

How about a simple quilted pouch with a flap that velcros on the front, kind of like a glasses case but bigger? You could reach it onehanded and open it in your purse if you needed to.....
