I have been privileged to be a mentor to my great niece. It felt so good when she asked me to help her with her 4-H sewing projects. I was very careful to let her do all of the cutting and sewing. My job was to help her with directions, answer questions she had, and iron her projects.

Enjoy those times together. My great niece is 22 and will be getting married in April. Time flies.

It sounds like you had a day, where, when it ends, you say to yourself. "It doesn't get much better than that!"
