    Default I am really missing..........

    LUCKY CHARMS......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love those darn things. My daughter married a US Soldier who was based over here in the UK (when they met) and he was a sweetie and used to bring me Lucky Charms......!

Than than bad boy moved back home and took my daughter with him.... miss her too (more than the Lucky Charms - LOL LOL LOL).

After that I found a small franchise who had a small stall in a shopping centre in Cambridge who sold Lucky Charms... they were expensive (£7.95....... approx $11.00 a box) but I didn't care... I NEEDED them. Sadly for the last 10 - 12 months they have not been at the shopping centre (think they have closed down as not too many people will pay £7.95 for a box of cereal in this ecconomy).

I am now thinking of leaving home and moving to the States just to get some Lucky Charms.... no really, I just wanted to vent about my sweet breakfast tooth!

    Thanks for letting me moan.

    Hugs

    Caroline

Wanna trade Lucky Charms for PG Tips and/or Branston Pickle (original recipe)??

We have to pay outrageous prices for these staples too!! I think the Branston is $8.00 for a 520g jar and the Tips we pay $19.00 for 240 ct!!! YIKES!!

I also crave Bangers & Mash but you can't ship those

You might try contacting General Mills. http://www.generalmills.com/ProductLocator.aspx

They might be able to help you locate a supplier.

You might try finding someone who works on a local U.S. military base (Lakenheath or Mildenhall) - the PX there would probably have them. I'm sure someone would be willing to keep you supplied.

You are probably nothing like me and like the cereal as well as the marshmallows, but since I really only like the charms in Lucky Charms, I've found you can just buy those:

They have branston in squeeze bottles now, brought some back with me when I was home last time. Me I like Oxtail soup mix for my stews as well. Oh and wine gums. Blacmange powder, maltesers, fruit gums, fruit pastilles, Okay enough making myself hungry.
