First off didn't there use to be a cooking section? Gone now?

I have a ton of blueberries in my freezer. I really want to make like a blueberry crisp. Does anyone have a good recipe? You know with like the fruit on the bottom and the crunchy stuff on top? Or any other good recipes fro blueberries? Thanks! :)

The recipe section is still at the bottom of my page. I usually make a blueberry cobbler, same recipe I use for peach.

Admin has cleaned up the board a little. It is still there. Go to Home, click on see all topics, or something like that. It will show up. If you want to see all recipes that come in click the subscribe on that topic and it will show up for you.

This is by far my favorite blueberry recipe:

Blueberry pound cake
1 pound butter
2 cups sugar
8 eggs
4 C flour
4 C blueberries
Preheat oven to 300*
Butter 2 loaf pans Cream butter and sugar mix in eggs one at a time Fold in all but 3 T flour toss blueberries with the 3 T flour, fold into batter and place in 2 loaf pans Bake for one hour and 30 to 50 min depending on pan size cool and remove from pan let sit overnight slice and serve. The Best I have used this one for years and we love it!!!

Here's one, don't know if this is what you are looking for.

The Firelight Inn
Duluth, Minnesota
Specialty Recipe

Blueberry Crisp

Ingredients - Filling
5 cups fresh blueberries
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Ingredients - Topping
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 cup cold butter, cut up
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread blueberries evenly onto bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Mix lemon juice and vanilla in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over blueberries.

In a bowl, mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle evenly over blueberries. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm.

Serves: 10

Heres how I use them: (works for all fruits)

Spay pan with pam pour berries about 1-1/2 inch deep, sprinkle with some sugar if wanted.
2cups flour, 1-1/2 stick soft butter (only butter), 1/2 box dark brown sugar.
mix til all crumbly, (add more sugar or butter if needed flour must be coated with butter) Bake 375 about 45 min til top browns. 8-)
