Default Out of the mouth of a baby

My sister and I visited our other sister Marg for the first time in about 3 years. Marg had her 4 year old DGD , Rena visiting. Of course we all when to the mall, talking a mile a minute in the car. During a lull in our talking Rena looks right at my sister & me and said Nan how come I always have to zip it (no talking) when you are driving. You are not very fair. Man it was so hard not to crack up, can't encourage the child.

You can believe little kids will tell you what is on their minds. LOL

Just like a kid, repeat what they have been told. Very cute.

Yes, I had a similar ticking off from a six year old whilst we were in the car too: "You act like I don't exist!"...(We gave the right amount of attention after that).

Gotta love their straight forwardness. All I ask of my 3 GDs is to use their indoor voices while in the car-they get to giggling I'm afraid I won't be able to hear emergency vehicles.

Got to love those kids. Just the other day my 3 yr. old grandson & I were getting ready to wash my peke in the tub. I got distracted and I hear him say OK Nana ready. I turn around and there's about a foot of bubbles in my tub. He had emptied a baby wash soap bottle which was 3/4 full into the tub. I said than you, but thought I put POOKIE in there we'd lose him in all those bubbles.
