just a sad day

Barb, I'm so sorry for your loss. So heart crushing. You're so in my thoughts and prayers.
It's a very wonderful quilt you did, both in honoring your brother and putting faces, personalities, to the issue. You show they're not just statistics, they're much dearly loved, wanted, cherished, highly valued, family members of all of us. I imagine it touches many, many people.
God's peace to you,
Diana

I lost my alcoholic brother on the 22 of April 5 years ago. He did not wake up in the morning, after agreeing to go to the VA hospital that morning. He was living with me after being homeless. I know the anniversary is always a difficult day, but it too passes with time. I don't think it will ever be easy, just easier. He was my baby brother by 13 years. I have 3 remaining brothers and a sister. And my brother left 3 adult daughters, he now has a grandson!
