Yet I'm less than hour south of you, and it rained here this morning and has been cloudy and cool all day. It's been raining every day for a while.

Gulf coast of FL so hot, humidity evident later chance of rain in the afternoon or evening. To the Gold Star families of our military who made the ultimate sacrifice we humbly thank you-you are in our thoughts and prayers this Memorial Day & always.

We had torrential rains and my old high school stadium (Austin High's House Park) is a lake. Shoal Creek flooded there. Watching news now. Tornados have been all around central Texas and Hill Country earlier today. We usually get rain on Memorial Day weekend but this has been devastating, especially for people in Wimberley and San Marcos Texas. Now the rains are moving eastward and rains are over in the Hill Country but now the water has to go somewhere and creeks and water is flowing everywhere. Lake Travis has risen 20 feet since May 1.

We were to get rain but didn't. It rained some Sat, night and Sunday. St. Louis got more rain than we did.
