A book or anything else is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Just Amazon is asking $500 doesn't mean they'll get it.

You can search EBay for completed listings only and get an idea of what people actually spend. Listing prices are meaningless. Check other book sites, too.

I have seen on Amazon where something was listed for a ridiculously high price and I know that could have not been right. I think they make mistakes on their prices now and then.

One time I saw a ridiculously high price and so, I asked them about it, and they said it was correct.
