Default iPod Touch 5th generation

OK I know someone here can help me out!

First off I have never had an iPod anything.....I ordered the iPod touch 5th generation got it last week and I swear I am such a dork. I can't even seem to put in the right words to find out how to do something on it...LOL!

OK if my grandkids were here they would show me but since they are Not near I am turning to you guys here.

I downloaded a music CD to the iTunes Library....now all I want to do is to take that CD and download it to my iPod touch 5th generation. The CD was one I had on hand to see if I could do it.....well I can't.

So is there anyone that can give me step by step instructions on how to transfer the CD from the iTunes Library to the iPod without having to pay the 24.99 per year to iCloud??

Thanks for your help,
Roseanna

I have the 3rd generation IPOD touch..... after loading the CD into ITunes, if you plug the IPOD into your computer, the ITunes should open and communicate with the IPOD. Then, you sync them.
Realistically, why don't you look online for the ipod instruction manual? Seems it is pretty easy to follow.

Here's a link to a tutorial that might help:

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you...the_iPod_Touch

You can add songs from the CD to iTunes, and the songs will be stored on your computer's hard drive. You don't have to back them up to iCloud unless you want to. You already have back-ups on your CD's, so no need, really, unless you want to back your whole computer up to iCloud.

Ask away if you have any further questions -- it's not hard once you know what to do, but getting there can take a little work, much like quilting
