We went to Cedar Point and rode roller coasters all day! :)

We had a big family/friends reunion and used the old town hall for it. It was also DH's 75th birthday so we felt it was a double whammy.

We have had 41 anniversaries, and we just go out to eat at a nice restaurant (not fancy), that is all we have ever done, which is great for me as I enjoy eating cooking that I did not have to prepare.

I can't remember which anniversary it was for, but we got cemetary plots. We've bought each other whatever we wanted at the time. I do remember getting a fancy diamond ring for our 50th. This yr (56th) I bought more fabric, and we traveled around FL. together stopping where we wanted. We still enjoy being with each other, so that is what is important.

For 35 we had a family dinner. At 50 the kids threw us an open house and we spent 2 weeks in Alaska cruising and sight seeing. For 55 this September we are taking the RockyMountain train trip from Calgary, Canada to
Whistler, Canada. Should be fun.

We also just usually go out to eat on our anniversary a long time ago I lost the diamond from my engagement ring and have hinted that I would like a new one but so far no luck we are on to 42 this year.

We did the same thing for our 50th, except it was done at 45, just in case...... Well, next year will be 50, so now what...celebrate the 60th??? We are still glad we went on the trip when we did...
