I don't think that fact will matter, as they are judged by the finished garment(s) and not by how much experience they have. So those with little experience are judged the same as those with decades :wink: :D:D:D

I think you missed the idea of my post as she is doing awesome. I just think she told a falsehood.

My assumption on her '4 months of sewing' is that she has dedicated the 4 months prior to the try-outs for sewing only. And in doing so refined her skills. I can't believe that she is that could and had never sewed on a machine before she decided to try out for the show.

I wondered about that as well.....Bottom line, it's all in what the finished garment looks like....
I'm a die-hard fan of Project Runway, but this season's contestants are really lacking in personality and quirkiness....I miss "Fearless" and Chris, and a few of the others....They made me laugh....Plus, they were really good designers....
